In 1926, ten Lindsay businessmen saw an opportunity. One of them, Charles Ferguson, would go on to shape Northern Casket's future. A century later, the company remains family owned, proudly Canadian, and true to the principles it was founded on.

The scale has changed
The first casket left a small building at the bottom of King Street in 1927. Today it leaves a 110,000 square foot plant. The standards in between have not moved.
