Gord Ferguson
Gord Ferguson CEO

Brought up in the family business in many job descriptions for over 40 years, Gord purchased the company from his father and uncle in 1987. A natural salesman with a "nothing is impossible" attitude, Gord is married to Karen, father to Caley and Chris, and grandpa to Cooper and Piper. He is very active in the Lindsay community and enjoys spending his free time in the outdoors.

Caley Ferguson President

After attending the University of Western Ontario for business, and Fanshawe College for a post graduate marketing diploma, Caley joined his father in the family business. As the fourth generation Ferguson at Northern, his roles include human resources, tradeshow sales, customer relations, and purchasing. He and his daughters Cooper and Piper love traveling and meeting new people. Caley is excited for the future of Northern Casket and looks forward to meeting and serving everyone in the funeral profession.

Chris Ferguson Logistics Manager
& North Urn General Manager

Christopher Ferguson is the youngest son of the Ferguson family. His primary responsibility at Northern Casket is the cremation and custom product line produced by our sister company North Urn. He started with the company at the age of 16 and has worked in all departments of the factory to gain the appropriate knowledge to understand the business. He works in sales and customer service and enjoys meeting new potential clients and also maintaining our existing relationships. His passion lies with family, friends, sports and the outdoors.

Michelle O'Reilly
Michelle O'Reilly Office Manager

Michelle joined Northern Casket in 2004 and quickly became a valuable part of the customer service team. Michelle has cross trained in all facets of the Northern Casket office including payroll, customer service, order entry, and accounts payable. Mother to three and grandmother to one, Michelle enjoys shopping and time with family and friends.

Sue Gagnon Office

The newest member to Northern Casket's office team, Sue works four days a week doing payroll, accounts payable and customer service. Sue spends countless hours helping run her family's summer resort in the Kawartha Lakes where she can also spend time with husband Lawrence and children Tyler and Danielle.

Kirsty Hoyer Office

Kirsty is delighted to bring her sunny disposition to the Northern Casket family. She brings many years of experience in sales and customer service to the team. Outside of work she is busy with three children and their many friends, and enjoys Yoga.

Henry Meyer
Henry Meyer Special Projects Manager

Henry Meyer came to Northern Casket in 1984 with a wealth of knowledge in manufacturing and woodworking. Henry quickly rose through the ranks to the position of production manager and subsequently Process Manager. He has overseen the development of many of Northern Casket's new products, and manufacturing processes. Henry continues to bring a "continuous improvement" attitude to the table and is part of our on-call team. He has two children, four step children, nine grandchildren that completes a busy life with his wife Judy.

Evan Lang Controller/Engineering

Evan began with Northern Casket in 2004 when it became clear that new processes and systems were needed to keep up with the times. His ingenuity and attention to detail have helped Northern Casket keep up with new technologies and products while maintaining a strict level of quality. Evan and Angie have four kids that keep them extremely busy.

Rick Eades Production Manager

Rick joined Northern in 1990 and quickly moved up through all departments giving him a wealth of Northern Casket product and service knowledge. Spending many years in the trim department and on the road as a deliver driver, Rick is also part of Northern's on-call team. Rick is also very passionate about his other job as a Kawartha Lakes Volunteer Fire Fighter.

Glen Miller
Glen Miller Sales - Western & Southern Ontario/Toronto-West

Glen is a 3rd generation Funeral Director having grown up under the tutelage of his Father Bud Miller at Miller Funeral Chapel in Caledonia. Aspiring to obtain more experience, Glen moved to Toronto and worked as a Senior Director at Ward Funeral Home in Weston from 1990 to 1999. Glen found his time at Ward's thoroughly rewarding however after 10 years, he was ready to embark on a new phase of his career. Wanting to remain in the industry.

Ron Downey Sales - Eastern & Northern Ontario/Toronto-East

Ron’s gift to everyone he meets is empathy. A genuine interest in people and their story defines his approach to building rapport quickly. He listens because he cares, he understands because he asks the right questions and he helps because he likes to make good things happen. His forte’ is seeing opportunity in people and their businesses, even when owners or managers cannot. Ron’s career was cultivated as an account manager in large corporations, but his passion is working with funeral homes, small businesses and community agencies.

Blaine Kitchen Relationship Developer

Blaine joined the Northern Casket sales team in 2019 to Spearhead it’s growth into the US and international markets. Having worked at Northern Casket as a summer student in his youth, Blaine’s career path has included owning his own businesses as well as international sales management positions within the death care universe. Blaine, his wife Szabina and two daughters are proud to call Lindsay home and love to travel as a family.

Tucker Muirhead
Tucker Muirhead Supply Chain Manager

Tucker joined the Northern Casket team in April of 2021, from the Supply Chain & Operations Management program at Durham College with a wealth of knowledge on current and up-to-date business practices to bring to Northern. Tucker comes from a long line of entrepreneurs who have taught him the value of good work ethic and superb customer service. Tucker is heavily involved in the purchasing aspect of Northern's operations, he is also a part of Northern's on-call team. Outside of work, Tucker enjoys sports, music, reading and writing.
